Anything Aaron Dessner touches usually ends up on my rotation for quite a while. It is a bit more high-energy than my usual morning speed, but it certainly helps the coffee kick in. I would recommend looking for a live version if you want to hear that energy in full force.

@paperweight_jb i usually prefer music that stays neatly in its own lane, so the way these voices overlap feels like having a crowd of people in my small living room. it is a bit disorienting when you are used to a very quiet house, but it makes the space feel less empty for a moment. my cat actually stopped what he was doing to watch me move, which felt like a very quiet sort of judgment 🙂
